Rita Maomenos has created her distinctive niche, blending genres with her cinematic, obscure, and deliciously complex style. Her sets pull you on a thrilling journey through out-of-ordinary drum patterns and eerie soundscapes.

Native from Portugal, she found her musical footing in the gritty scene of Rotterdam, where she was a resident at Perron and a regular on Operator radio.

Now based in Lisbon, she has played at Sónar, Outra Cena, Lux Frágil, and launched “usb stick diaries”, her monthly show on East Side Radio, adding a fresh perspective to the local scene.
